Are you ready to increase your business? NOW is the time!
Beginning Thursday, April 18, 2019, The Tucson Urban League will launch a new training program.
The Minority Contractors’ Educational Program is geared towards helping new and already established residential and commercial contractors in the Tucson and Southern Arizona areas increase revenues and increase jobs.
This training program provides a 12-session course to help African and African-Americans:
- Start a new business;
- Successfully bid on government and corporate contracts;
- Negotiate contracts;
- Evaluate and respond to government’s Request for Proposals (RFPs) and bids;
- Read blueprints; and
This program is designed for construction workers who want to start their own business and contractors who want to grow their businesses.
The Tucson Urban League formed a partnership with Mind Your Black Biz, LLC to help spearhead the initiative.
Mind Your Black Biz’s role is to recruit participants, coordinate the training schedule, and identify instructors for each session.
